okay so i live super duper close to mountains and i think it amazing because i wake up to the most beautiful view of them. Especially when it rains or after, the clouds surround them making them look like something out of a movie like Narnia =] Anyways so im really sad because they are on fire!!! i feel so bad for those poor defenseless animals up there that are either trapped or have perished. I hope they put it out soon. This picture is when it first started now you cant see any blue sky because all of it is covered in thick smoke so you could just imagine how bad the air quality is out here. my poor pooch, my mom doesnt like him indoors. Got home yesterday and his poor lil eyes were red and would water because of the darn smoke so he was with me the whole day getting pampered as always =]

Product Reviews!!!!!

I keep posting.. thats because i have a lot to talk about today =]
so ok i while back i bought some drugstore stuff and said i would review so here i am.
Today im going to review 4 products, Almay's smart shade concealer, and bright eyes and i will also review Revlon's Double Twist mascara and Brow Enhancer.
Lets start with Almay:

Bright Eyes
I give this product a 8 out 10 stars!!!
Pros: Conceals dark circles, Brightens under eyes, perfect shade, packaging is good, easy to use.if you seriously cant use this then u should go back to kindergarten to teach you how to open and close and squeeze stuff. (not trying to be mean)
Cons: kinda pricey for such a small tube but i didnt pay much since i got it on sale! =]

Okay so lets start off by saying i love the packaging, all you have to do is unscrew the top squeeze just enough for some of the product to end up on the tip of the wand and wallah!!! its that simple. I read some review with people saying it gets all over the place, and it sucks because sometimes it doesnt even come out. well really its common sense squeeze just enough for the amount you desire. Ok now the coverage, i think it works great, it covers my nasty dark circles and it actually brightens them, my mami told me so and she didnt even know what i was wearing, she says i finally got some sleep...if she only knew. Anyways, i really liked it, you can also use it as a base for your e/s, i do use it for that but i also use my udpp so really i havent used it alone. so there! so i totally recommend



Smart Shade Concealer
i give this product an 8 out of 10 stars
Pros: conceals really good, dont need such a large amount, it goes from white to your skin tone
Cons: pricey but again on sale when i purchased it.
Honestly i dont know what bad thing to say about it because i really liked it. The only reason why i didnt give it a 9 or 10 was because besides the fact that its pricey, it also leaves this ugly residue on your fingers which is normal but idk i just dont like it, my finger look orange after i use it to dab it on my face. Anyways, i really like this product also, it totally does what its suppose to do and conceals my red spots as well as my dark circles. I always exchange between my bright eyes and this because they are both just lovely. So i would totally recommend this.


Now for Revlon:


Brow Enhancer
i give this product a 6 out 10 stars
Pros: nice packaging, 2 in one product
Cons: limited amount of shades to chose from, the highlighter tends to clump =/
So let me start off with the good. I do like this because it has a waxy consistency so it keeps my eyebrows in place the highlighter is such a pretty color. Bad things, the highlighter clumps so when im putting it on and crap comes off it and it gets all over my eyelids and eyelashes as well as on my brows and then now i have white brows which isnt to pretty. They only have certain colors and they are either to dark or to light so there's no in between and that sucks. But i still will continue to use it but im not sure if i would buy. You guys should try it out and let me know what you think.



Double Twist Mascara
i give this a 6 out 10 stars
Pros: distributes a good amount of mascara, doesnt clump, makes my lashes look fuller.
Cons: that wand looks so pretty but if you slip you might poke your eye out it hurts!!! and its kinda thick the mascara not the wand. well that too lol
okay so i read tons of reviews on this mascara and its 50/50 some people love it and some people just hate it. See first off i like it the packaging is okay and it gives my lashes exactly what i was looking for...a fuller look. i saw some people and what they were complaining about and they say it suck its gets all over the place it clumps, and that it pretty much eats up your wand. but see i have been usiing it for a while now and i have not yet experienced any of those things. so ladies where are you storing your mascara?? what are you doing to it to get it all nasty like that. A recommendation is to always store your makeup in a nice cool and dry area so that it doesnt mess it up like i have seen. so again would i buy this mascara...yes i would i do like what it does to my lashes...


So there you have it, that was a super huge review i thought it would never end. If your reading this is because you actually read all through it yay and kudos to you. Thanks for reading my ramble. I give honest opinions i hate when people copy what others say about certain products. i believe everyone is different and if something works for you it may not work for the next person but you will never know until you try it out. Dont get me wrong i read reviews first before i buy something but i also learned that not all reviews are honest and truthful experiences and thats what i want to deliver to you. again there i go ranting pfft. i will end it here have a nice day!

So when i go to work i really dont wear that much makeup just because its hot and really gross here! So i wanted to go for a copper-e look so yea what do you gals think?

In's and Outs!

IN'S:

• Bronzers they give you this beautiful glow to your skin i just love it.
• Very peachy nail colors like ur watermelons and your salmon colors they totally can be left on forever and go with every outfit
• Big purses, they are just perfect for back to school because you can fit a whole folder in them lol
• Multi color scarfs. They complement every outfit and could be either worn around your neck, your waist as a belt or wrap around your purse to accessorize.
• Beach waves! untamed, crazy, just got out of bed look. perfectly straight and tamed hair is so out...Pleasentville anyone?? lol
• Aspirin face masks!!!! we are in a recession lmao do it at home remedies are much better anyways

Out's:

• Neon colors...im sorry but that was just a phase =]
• Matchin, color cordinating!!! ok so do you really want to look like a crayon... i dont think so. i believe in self expression and if you want to wear rain boots with a skirt go for it. so that goes with colors it really annoys me when i see someone where a black shirt with white shorts with black pin stripes, black jewlery, and black shoes, black makeup. are you serious like that was so 2004 lol maybe im alone on this one.
• Eminem ok maybe im alone on this one too, but omg c'mon talking crap about celebrities in all your songs (well not all) is old...give up already
  
• Famous Stars and Straps...ok im probably alone on this one too but seriously in how many ways and colors, shapes, and forms can you say famous??? this brand is ridiculous...dont get me wrong ive worn this brand way back when, but now its just a little old and im tired of seeing every beefcake with these stupid shirts... get something better like Strategik collective (total shout out to the owner my bestie Phlick) or Rouge Status, rvca, etc.
  
• Bad service at restaraunts, ok im a waitress too but at least i try...so if you suck dont ask my i gave you a crappy tip...you get what u earn!

Back to school shopping (pic heavy)

I love heels but i have flat feet so its hard to walk in them and actually keep them on long enough they just hurt but i do own a lot. and of course flats are awesome.

Hello Lovelies,
so i totally did some crazy shopping and i will doing a post soon, as soon as i get a camera up and running cuz everything seems not to work right now =/
anyways, while in old town pasadena on my way to eat a Buca (btw this place sucks!) i took a little detour and walked through a little alley and it smelled soooo yummy and thats when i came across this wonderful place called Three Dog Bakery. Omg this place smelled scrumpchous. But its a bakery for dogs, thats right dogs. At the door they have a huge bowl of water just in case your pooch needs to hydrate and when you walk in the service is phenominal, the treats looks so good, i just wanted to eat them but of course i couldnt. Everything was fairly priced in my opinion. I bought a bumble bee which was i believe $1.75 but not to sure and the other one which i dont remember what its called i got x2 for $2.75. My dog devoured them i mean why wouldnt he they smelled and looked like they taste good. but anyways my dog is being lazy ever since my other dog passed so i thought i would treat him to fabolous treats lol if your in the area definitely check them out. NOTD: Cocktail

Hey Lovelies, so i decided to do my nails at work, since i had some free time and i used this beautiful color from Victoria's Secret in the Very Sexy collection. The name is cocktail and its a very gorgeous color. It looks like a salmon, or coral and what i love it has gold shimmers in it you cant really tell unless your close up but its purdy!!!This is totally a summer hue. I ended up getting this lacquer on sale for like $ 3.50 so i just had to. =]

So i havent really posted anything in a few days because i dont have a camera and my phone camera doesn't work that great. you cant even see the colors like e/s or blush its totally pissing me off!!!! I have been reading a lot of post from the blogs i follow and everyone had been putting up really cool post on skincare. I hope to be able to post something similar to that soon..like what i use on my face. To those who have recently started following me thank you, and i will post real soon.

Biosilk Conditioner Review

Hey everybody,
I needed to do a review of this product badly. See i have used the Biosilk serum to take away the frizz and make your hair look super shiny and i love that product. So i decided why not try this conditioner. I dont know if its because im not using it with the shampoo but omg i hate this crap. It was such a waste of $17. I wish i could return it but i cant grrrrrr. First off i had to use more than a quarter size like a lot more to actually cover my hair entirely, i know i have long hair but with my past conditioners i only needed a quarter size. And then when i would put it in my hair it wouldnt make my hair soft like my normal old conditioners would do. And then when i would brush my hair still had knots that were hard to take out. With my old ones my comb would run right through. It didnt make my hair feel silky smooth like the zohan would say lol So if you want to try it go ahead but im warning you this product was just not for me and it may not be for you. or try it with the shampoo it might work. but i didnt want to spend another $20 on a shampoo.
PROS:
-none..oh wait it smells good but thats it.

CONS:
-need to use a big amount
-left the hair like if you didnt even condition it =[
-pricey

Cupcakes!!!

HEY PEEPS, I MADE CUPCAKES!!!!!! I USUALLY DON’T BAKE ONLY BECAUSE ITS TOO HOT TO BE IN A KITCHEN WITH A HOT STOVE (YUK!) BUT MY MOM WAS COMING HOME FROM HER VACATION AND I MISSED HER SO MUCH SO I DECIDED WHY NOT MAKE WELCOME HOME CUPCAKES. OK SO I DID IT OLD SCHOOL AND DIDN’T USE AN ELECTRONIC MIXER, I USED A WISK…WHAT!? YUP MY ARM WAS HURTING AFTER 2 MINS LOL BUT I DID IT AND IT MADE ME FEEL LIKE I MADE THEM WITH LOVE WHICH I DID…AND HERE WAS MY PROCESS AND THE FINISHING PRODUCT OR SHOULD I SAY PRODUCTS!!!

Hey everybody yesterday was a very sad day for me. My dog Princess died. Im devastated still, which honestly doesnt really describe how much worse i feel. My poor baby i had her for 8 years. She had such a good personality, she loved me and my family very much. she will dearly be missed =[

Mini Drugstore and random Haul

Hey guys so CVS was having a buy one get one free sale for 3days and i went to check out some stuff. So i went in and picked up some stuff from Almay and from Revlon. Since to me it was a bargain what i got, i decided to head down to Ross which is in the same shopping center and take a look at what they had. So let me start off with what i bought at CVS. *I will have reviews for all these products soon =] *

From Almay i bought the Bright eyes base and concealer i heard that Almay had a really good concealer that didn't look greasy and it didnt flake up like others tend to do. I bought it for $6.99. I also bought Almay's Smart Shade concealer. I got both of these in Light/Medium. It too was $6.99 but I got it for free. I cant wait to try both of them, since the bright eyes says it will cover dark circles and brighten your eyes cuz i really need that. I also bought Revlon Double Twist Mascara. I got it for $8.99 i just want to try it out along with the Lashblast which i already use. And the product i decided to try too was Revlon Colorstay Brow. To fill in my brows i usually use MAC Corduroy e/s but decided to try out something different. I really hope i like these products.
Now for what i bought at Ross. So i went in there just browse and stay cool since it felt like it was 100 degree weather around 6pm in socal!!! Anyways, so walked around till i hit the bath/body/hair section, and i noticed that they sell a lot of high end brands in that too. i thought it was funny, until i came up on a bottle of Big Sexy Hair Volumizer Mousse. OMG, it was only $ 6.99 for a 10.6 oz bottle. At your regular drugstore it runs for almost $20. So ithought it was a steal. I also came across a cute dress to wear for a night on the town. Let me know what you think of all the cool deals and if you tried any of the products and what you thought of them....

FOTD: My Everyday look when it comes to work

*hey everybody, so before i start my camera sucks so please forgive for the horrible quality pictures. i really did try but this camera sucks. *
ok so i do my makeup very light when i go to work because i hate been hit on by a bunch of old men. seriously its gross. so i try not primp myself up that much. but i do do the basics for the everyday. so lets start off with what im going to use:

#1 MAC 217 Blending Brush
#2 MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush
#3 Random drugstore concealer brush (didnt use it, so ignore it)
#4 Drugstore Smudger Brush
#5 MAC 263 Small Angle Brush
#6 E.L.F Lip Brush
#7 E.L.F Clear Mascara and Eyebrow Gel
#8 MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack
#9 NYX E/S In Nutmeg
#10 MAC E/S In Corduroy
#11 CoverGirls Lash Blast Mascara in black
#12 MAC Studio Fix Powder in NC35
#13 MAC Powder Blush in Buff
*BLUSH BRUSH NOT LISTED AND LINER PENCIL

First i apply the powder foundation evenly all over my face with the 187 brush.
Then i take the e/s in corduroy and the lip brush and start to line up and fill in my brows.

After that i apply the E.L.F eyebrow gel to keep them in place because my eyebrows do go crazy.
After that i apply my eyeliner using fluidline, with the 263 brush. ( I apply my eyeliner before or after my e/s cuz it really doesnt matter to me) I start from the middle of my eye to the outer corners then i work going inward.

The with my 217 blending brush i take some of the nutmeg e/s and start covering my eyelid up to the crease with it and blend it up so that you cant see any lines.



Now i apply the eyeliner inside my lower lid and with a smudger Brush i smudge the bottom lid to give it a little smokey look

I apply some of the lash blast mascara
ok so finally after all that i apply some of my powder blush in buff with a blush brush (ok its not pictured because i couldnt find it so now i have to go buy one bummer) right on my cheek bone and i do it in a circular motion so that i wont see it come out like with lines or uneven.

Then the finished look. (again my camera sucks so it doesnt look like i applied anything lol)
