Bigelow Chemist Mentha Lip Shine Review

*Update* i know i havent really posted much lately and i apologize i have been super busy with personal issue which i dont care to talk about. But i will resume my EOTD series on thursday, school starts today so im gonna be super busy with that, anyways...

Today i wanted to do a review on this new product i recently have tried out. I purchased it at Bath and Body i think. Its the Bigelow Chemist Mentha Lip shine, on the website it claims:

No. 502 Mentha Lip Shine Peppermint Oil 2% Our mint-infused lip balm provides a glossy high shine with a refreshing cooling sensation. Lips stay moist and protected while peppermint oil gives breath a long-lasting freshness.

This is a 0.5 oz tube with minty freshness which im loving. The packaging is great because its a squeeze tube which i like. As soon as you apply this goodness you can feel the sudden burst of coolness on your lips, and it does freshen your breath, no need for gum lol The mint totally kept my lips nice and cool as well as provide that shine like a lipgloss, it lasted a while but i do have a bad habit of licking and eating my lip glosses off my lips, and im sorry but this stuff tastes good so who wouldn't. The only problem i have with it is the price, i believe its $7 .50 that's a little too much for me, even if it does more than provide shine. But other than that i highly recommend this lipgoss.

Have any of you tried any of the other glosses or this one??

  1. I've tried this before! I actually really like it for the same reasons. It's refreshing and I like how it hydrates, makes your lips shiny, and freshens your breath. I totally understand the whole licking/eating the lip products off--I do it, too!!! And yes, $7.50 is a little bit pricey... I also tried the ones with color, but I don't really find them all too pigmented--just shiny. Great post and thanks for the review! :)

  2. Haha I love that it freshens your breath XD it doesnt tingle or burn at all?

  3. @SilhouetteScreams: Nope, it doesnt tinlge or burn which is why i love it more. You would think since its minty and its suppose to freshen breath it would tingle a little but it doesnt, its just a cool sensation

  4. Hey hun,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I wish money grew on trees, I'd def be way into gardening then, haha!

& I love these lipglosses. I got my friend addicted to the cinnamon one.. it's infused with peppermint oil as well

  5. I bought this last year maybe? Not sure when but I love it! Sooo good!
